Every successful project begins with careful planning. Before production begins, we review and approve every detail of your order:
Production begins only after your written approval.
Sample approval (when required): an initial 20% deposit applies. If the sample cost is less than that deposit, Design Hub® manufactures and provides the sample for review. Once approved and the order proceeds, the sample cost is credited toward the completed order — no additional charge for the sample once it becomes part of the final approved order.
Throughout production, Design Hub® monitors every stage to ensure your products are produced exactly as approved. Our QA process includes:

All five disciplines — lighting, furniture, kitchen & bath, wall covering, and flooring — built to your specification. Work from your drawings and specs, or start from a concept and we’ll engineer it. If you can imagine it, we can quote it.
We’re built around projects, so scope is set per project rather than a fixed minimum. Hotels, event halls, country clubs, multifamily, offices, custom homes, and individual residences are all welcome. Tell us what you’re building and we’ll scope it with you.
Lead times depend on scope, materials, and quantities. As part of order confirmation you receive a firm production schedule — with expected milestones and shipping window — before any deposit is due, so there are no surprises once production begins.
When a sample is required, an initial 20% deposit applies and is credited back toward your order once approved. Manufacturing is 60% on final approval to begin production and 40% during manufacturing at production milestones. Shipping and import charges are billed separately, based on freight and customs at the time of shipment.

Yes. As the Importer of Record, we manage the complete process — export documentation, ocean freight, customs clearance, import compliance, and delivery scheduling — and keep you informed until everything is safely delivered to your site, anywhere in the U.S.
Absolutely. We produce directly from your architect’s or designer’s drawings and specs, and provide shop drawings for your approval before production begins. Prefer to start from scratch? Our team can design and engineer the piece with you.
Yes — visit our Springfield, NJ showroom at 60 Springfield Ave to review materials, finishes, and samples in person, or request production photographs at any stage of manufacturing.
